How Slavery Appeared on Earth

It is clear that slavery appeared on earth almost simultaneously with the appearance among the peoples of such a phenomenon as the division of labor, with the first bloody wars, when captured soldiers, instead of being killed, began to be enslaved. Apparently, slavery appeared in ancient times. But slavery, as a mass phenomenon, total, when black people were exported from Africa for several hundred years, this phenomenon became large-scale thanks to the Portuguese and Pope Nicholas the Fifth.

Slavery is total, merciless and monstrous in its cruelty and scale.

Henry the Navigator was born in 1394. It was a Portuguese prince, the son of John the First. The Spaniards had all the Juans, and the Portuguese had all the Juans, but that's not the point. Heinrich was the organizer of sea expeditions to the coast of Africa , he also really wanted to get to India , but, fortunately for the Indians, he did not get to them.

It was Henry the Navigator who brought the first black slaves to Europe, and it all started with him. Immediately in Europe they saw that this was good, in Portugal they introduced a state monopoly on the slave trade. In order to transport slaves from Africa more and faster, new types of ships were invented in Portugal, they invented special sails with which they could go against the wind. Business quickly began to improve.

Pope Nicholas the Fifth allowed the Portuguese to seize African lands and black people. Africans, with the permission of the Pope, were enslaved. The Pope then said that Africans are not quite people.

“Yes, they also have arms, legs and a head, but they are not people, they can be taken into slavery.”

Slaves were exported from Africa for four hundred years, during which time at least 17 million people were exported to the New World.

17 million blacks were taken only to America, and how many slaves were sent from Africa - no one will tell you.

As for the statistics of the United States specifically, a year before the abolition of slavery in this “democratic country”, among the 15 states in which the slave system was preserved, and in these states then lived, somewhere around 19 million Americans, and so, there among them were four million black slaves.

Of the one and a half million American families, not people, but families that lived in these states, somewhere every fifth family kept a slave who was forced to do absolutely everything that his “white master” could think of.
