Victor Tsoi - 10 facts about the eternally alive iconic musician

Tsoi is alive! - such inscriptions on the walls can be seen today. The cult musician is revered to this day, his songs are performed on stage and in doorways, his image is put on a par with the iconic Beatles. June 21, Viktor Tsoi would have turned 55 years old.

Victor was born into the family of a Korean engineer and a physical education teacher. His parents divorced, and a little later they began to live together again.

The future musician studied at the art school named after V. Serov. From this institution, Victor was expelled for poor progress, and he entered a vocational school as a metal carver.

Viktor Tsoi was a fan of Bruce Lee's work. He imitated his image, became interested in martial arts. They remember that he often fought "in Chinese" with Yuri Kasparyan. By the way, his cousin is a master of martial arts.

Igor Talkov considered Viktor Tsoi "the messenger of the White Forces." He was sure that in his work the musician acted as a kind of preacher of goodness and justice, but due to the sudden death, in which, according to him, the "Dark Forces" intervened, he did not have time to fully fulfill his mission.

Tsoi studied to be a metal carver, but was fond of a slightly different carving. The musician professionally carved netsuke figurines from wood.

The most sung song of Viktor Tsoi is "Cuckoo". The lines "How many songs have not been written yet, tell me, cuckoo?" performed by Zemfira, Dots Family, Olga Kormukhina and Polina Gagarina.
