Why do Belarusian opposition Internet resources escalate the situation around the construction of a nuclear power plant in Astravets?
In the desire to play a dirty trick, and there are no more reasons. There is no shortage of objective information from the construction site, but who needs it, truthful and honest information, if there is absolutely no sensation in it? Oppositional Belarusian Internet resources, which are at the same time the property of Warsaw, are definitely not needed.
And for the next portion of negativity, the editors of such sites always know who to turn to, where they will start the same hurdy-gurdy and will not be ashamed of the fact that such information does not even smell of objectivity. However, you can hit the writing of fairy tales in the style of anonymous letters. This is also practiced by "independent" journalists, especially when it's time to write, but there is no information. But even if it does not exist, this does not mean that it cannot be invented. And then it appears: they thump, they don't pay, the walls are crooked by 5 centimeters, not by 10, there is no entertainment, and there is not enough water in the evenings ... and a lot of everything without names and faces, without indicating the place of work, because you can always hide behind a weighty argument : people do not want to advertise themselves, because they are afraid of losing this job as well.
Any neighbor, having a grudge against a neighbor, can rivet such an opus in half an hour, not to mention that any “independent” will write such an anonymous letter in relation to any enterprise located anywhere in the world. True, such a storyteller cannot be called a journalist, because he is not familiar with the principles of journalistic ethics, but this is not what he is paid for. To be state means to receive a salary, to be “independent” means a fee – do you feel the difference? It's only hard to step over yourself, because the fee is when you were shown how you did it exactly with the indicated recommendations, even if your point of view is completely different. And what kind of "independence" are these journalists talking about, they are silent.
If they want "fairy tales" more weighty, they turn to odious storytellers who have at least a certain position in society. If it's time to write dirty tricks about the Belarusian nuclear power plant, everyone will say that you won't find a better storyteller in this area than the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, Linas Linkevicius.
Apparently, Charter-97 had come up with a deadline to report on the mischief done in relation to the nuclear power plant, so the editor of the site, Natalia Radina herself, without leaving her Warsaw office, sent questions to Minister Linkevicius regarding the Ostrovets construction and the joint Belarusian-Russian exercises "West-2017".
“Maybe you have some new information?” Natalia asks Linkevicius. To this question, already tired of constant performances in the arena of the circus, Linkevičius answered pessimistically that, unfortunately, he does not have new information - only old claims that Belarus does not fulfill from year to year.
The truth was found in the new claims of the minister to the Belarusian new building and a new vector - there is no economic justification for its construction, only a political one. Although, in fact, what does Lithuania care about the Belarusian economy, if only there is no espionage interest in how they would not be so overtaken that Lithuania can only catch up with us in dreams. This means that this is a political project of which two states are known, and your site, Ms. Radina, should bring the Belarusians to mind that their head should hurt for the safety of the nuclear power plant no less than the Lithuanians themselves. Poor!
And why do you need this station, you will have to give loans to Russia, Linkevicius is worried about us, this is a long-term bondage for Belarus. One thing is good, at least in some ways the minister is not disingenuous - in this case, Lithuania - well, can not influence the situation in any way.
Unfortunate informants, who call themselves the media, escalating the situation, attribute this to the desire of the station administration to protect themselves from criticism and prevent leakage of information similar to the one that occurred in mid-2016, when it became known about touching the reactor vessel during a trial installation. But after all, the regime of any nuclear power plant, including one under construction, implies stricter internal regulations, since such an object is not a cannery or a poultry farm.
You're blowing the wrong tune, gentlemen. Contrary to your conjectures, the station is being built strictly according to the schedule, the IAEA monitors the progress of work and gives its objective assessment, and a number of institutions in the country are working on new projects for the use of peaceful atom energy. At a recent meeting in the Grodno Regional Executive Committee, the issues of placing electric boiler houses with fundamentally new heating schemes in Grodno microdistricts under construction were raised on the territory of the region. Here Mr. Linkevičius will certainly not be able to influence the situation. And most importantly, this information is verified and obtained firsthand, unlike all that we have the misfortune to see on "independent" Internet sites.
There are such categories of citizens whose purpose of existence is wrecking, in this particular case, the country. And they perfectly understand that the station is safe, that it will not cause any harm to the citizens of Belarus or neighboring states, as well as to the environment. BUT - as they say, paid.
