What are the Different Types of Fingerprinting Processes?
It is really hard to identify or authenticate a person until the discovery of fingerprints in 1984 and since then on, it has been developed and widely accepted all over the world as a way to authenticate a person’s identity. Fingerprints are the only thing that is found to be really unique from one person to another, hence the discovery of such has been used widely for identification purposes.
The first thing that will usually happen is that the person’s fingerprint will be taken by paper and as soon as it has been printed out, it will then be uploaded to the internet to be used for identification in the future but one downside to this type of technology is that people who have medical problems that does not allow them to give out a fingerprint sample, then it will be useless in the end.

Since the discovery of DNA fingerprinting process, there have been so many instances that lead to bigger progresses and developments.

To name, these various processes involve the restriction fragment length polymorphism or known as the RFLP, short tandem repeat or STR method, polymerase chain reaction or PCR and amplified fragment length polymorphism or AmpFLP.

Last but not the least, AmpFLP is very popular in smaller countries from around the world and they are popular in a way that it is less complicated that the rest and is also very much straight forward when compared to the other three but due to its less complicated feature, this has been pointed out to likely be the cause of misidentifications in some processes.
