Violence in the Bible

A topic for meditation for fundamental Christians - if there is nothing human in the Bible, but everything is from God, then why:

THE BIBLE TEACHES INJUSTICE!

“Noah…planted a vineyard; and he drank the wine and became drunk. And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and going out he told his two brothers ... Noah woke up from his wine and found out what his younger son had done to him, and said: “Cursed be Canaan, he will be a servant of servants to his brothers.” (Gen. 9.20-25). Just think, for the fact that Ham saw his father naked when he got drunk to a bestial state, and told the brothers about it Noah curses all his descendants!!! And you complain about Stalin, who put children in prison for the crimes of their fathers - that's terry Stalinism in the Bible for you.

THE BIBLE TEACHES TO DECEIVE!

Chapter 34 of Genesis tells the story of how Prince Shechem wooed Jacob's daughter Dinah. Jacob agreed to give her as a wife to the prince, “if you will be like us, so that all your male sex will be circumcised.” (Gen. 34:15). Shechem accepted the condition and circumcised all his people. However, instead of fulfilling their part of the condition, the holy and righteous sons of Jacob made a vile robbery attack on the city of Shechem: boldly attacked the city and killed all the male sex ... The sons of Jacob came to the slain and plundered the city.” (Gen. 34:25-29). Notice the word boldly - indeed, great boldness to attack sick peaceful people.

THE BIBLE TEACHES WILD SLAVE LAWS!

“... let his master bring the slave before the gods and put him to the door, or to the jamb, and the master will pierce his ear with an awl, and he will remain his slave forever.” (Ex. 21.6). How many of you fundamental Christians would like to have their ears pierced with an awl according to Scripture, raise your hand!

THE BIBLE TEACHES TO HATE AND KILL YOUR NEIGHBOR!

“And he (Moses) said to them: 'Thus says the Lord God of Israel, put every one of your sword on your thigh, go through the camp from gate to gate and back, and kill every one of his brother, every one of his friend, every one of his neighbor.” And the sons of Levi did according to the word of Moses, and about 3,000 of the people fell that day.” (Ex. 32.26-29). Which of the Christians present here is ready to kill a brother, friend, neighbor according to the word of Moses? Would you do it?

THE BIBLE TEACHES TO BRUTALLY KILL CHILDREN OF CONQUERED PEOPLES!

“…and Moses said to them: “Therefore, kill all the male children, and all the women who know a man…slay.” (Numbers 31.14-18). What kind of god is this, demanding children's blood? This is some kind of bloody cruel Moloch, a maniac killer!!! Hitler, in comparison with the author of this text, is a juvenile hooligan.

THE BIBLE TEACHES NOT TO EDUCATE NAUGHTY CHILDREN, BUT TO KILL THEM!

“If anyone has a violent and rebellious son… then let his father and his mother take him and bring him to the elders of the city… and then let all his inhabitants stone him to death.” (Deut. 21.18-21). Would you do this with your child?

THE BIBLE TEACHES TO BETRAY!

In chapter 6 of the Book of Joshua, it is told that a certain prostitute Rahab betrayed her hometown of Jericho and hid Jewish spies, for which the Jews, having taken Jericho, did not kill her and her family, as for the rest of the inhabitants of the city, then “Both husbands and women, both young and old, and oxen, and sheep, and donkeys, they destroyed with the sword.” (Joshua 6:20). In general, it seems that during the exodus from Egypt, the “people of God” was a gang of thugs who destroyed everything in their path and killed everything that moved…

Well, gentlemen, biblical Christians - do you all believe in this too? Are these terrible things sacred to you too?
