Russian government explores the possibility of prolongation zero tax on profits for farmers for whole transitional period of joining Russia the World Trade Organization. That was declared by Vladimir Putin las week.

For farmers which have not accepted unified tax for agricultural sector will continue having zero tax on profits. The tax was supposed to be 18%. By the way, the Duma considering a package of bills to leave zero tax on profit, with following increasing the duty.

Putin also promised to study the possibility to prolong subsidiary for bank short term interest rate payments for the farmers who are involved in diary and meet production business.

Russian president shares concerns of the farmers regarding the problems, which the industry is going to have, and plans to make quick steps to protect producers.
