Old Broward

Historical and cultural value is the most distinctive material objects and intangible manifestations of human creativity, which have outstanding spiritual, aesthetic and documentary merits and are taken under state protection in the manner prescribed by the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On the Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage".

There are 16 objects on the territory of the Korelichi district, which are included in the State List of Historical and Cultural Values.

Moreover, 1 object is assigned to the highest, zero category - the Mir Castle, to the first category - the complex of the Nikolaev church in the town of. Mir, to the second - 2 objects - the Trinity Church in the settlement. The world and a mosaic on one of the buildings of the Mir Castle, and all other objects are the third category.

One of these buildings, classified as historical and cultural heritage of the 3rd category, is the brovar building, which is located at the stadium of the town of Korelichi.

Reference

The building of the former brovar. Year of construction - 1858. In the 20-30s of the XX century. belonged to Count Zheltovsky. After the Great Patriotic War and until the end of the 80s. The building was used  for living quarters. The building has not been used since the late 80s.

This building was classified as valuable by protocol No. 65 dated May 3, 2001 of the meeting of the entire Scientific and Methodological Council on issues of historical and cultural heritage.

This building was built in 1858, and now it is going through hard times. It seems to be in a place where they always clean, mow the grass, but ...

Today, the historical and cultural value of the third category has turned into a place where the “best people” of the city gather. Korelichi, in order to credit a bottle with good inexpensive wine, which is good only because it is not expensive, but they can also use brovar as a latrine. Despite the nearby toilet "like a toilet, marked on the map with the letters Me and Jo."

In an attempt to still protect the historical and cultural value, all the entrances to  the territory of the brovar were boarded up with boards and now there seems to be no way to get there. At least the workers, for cleaning inside, definitely do not get into it. But the rest of the board is not a hindrance. And why would young writers on the walls get inside to show their “love” for the  heritage of their ancestors by writing “I am RAP” on the wall. For the reference of such fans of rap - rap initially is a quarrel (and not only censored) between African Americans. Yes, and the inscriptions on the walls are an administrative offense, petty hooliganism.

So there is a building that seems to be useless to anyone, it would be demolished so that the appearance does not spoil, but on the other hand, the historical and cultural value is protected by law. Although I don’t understand who saw the spiritual, aesthetic and documentary merits in this building.

Can someone explain?
