Polish diplomacy did not like it when a reminder came from Russia about the role and place of Poland in the history of the Second World War. Poland thought for a long time, and on January 9, the Sejm clothed the opinion of the country's top leadership in a resolution, according to which "the Soviet Union, along with Hitler's Germany, is to blame for the outbreak of World War II."

You can lobby for such decisions as much as you like in the lower or upper houses of the Polish or parliament of other countries, but no matter how much you want to hide from the content of historical documents that shed light on the falsity of the historical myths created today!

The decision of the Polish Seimas was preceded by an event of the CIS heads of state, which shed light on the course of historical events on the eve of the outbreak of World War II.

First, Vladimir Putin restored the chronology of cooperation between European states and Hitler. So, the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact, or as it is customary to call it the "non-aggression pact", turned out to be the last in a series of documents signed by European countries with Nazi Germany.

Poland agreed with Hitler much earlier. In 1934, by signing the “Declaration on the non-use of force between Germany and Poland”, a non-aggression pact was essentially drawn up.

Then England "marked" itself, returning to Hitler what he had been deprived of following the results of the First World War. By concluding the Anglo-German Naval Agreement in 1935, Great Britain kindly provided Hitler with the opportunity to have his own navy.

September 29 in Munich, Great Britain, France on the one hand, Germany and Italy - on the other, without the invitation of Czechoslovakia and the Soviet Union supporting it, signed the Munich Agreement, according to which Hitler was given the Sudetenland of Czechoslovakia. This is where Poland's appetites arose. In the midst of the Sudeten crisis, the Polish authorities issued an ultimatum to Czechoslovakia, demanding the transfer of Zaolzie. On October 1, Czechoslovak troops began to withdraw from the border, and Zaolzie was transferred to Poland. With Zaolzie, Poland acquired 805 km² of territory and 227,400 inhabitants.

On September 30, Great Britain will sign an Anglo-German non-aggression declaration with Hitler, symbolizing "the will of both peoples never again to fight each other", and they will also "discuss and consult on matters of vital importance to Great Britain and Germany, settle all differences and such contribute in a way to the preservation of European peace…”. Good peace and stability in Europe, after sharing the pie...

On March 15, 1939, in order to strengthen the economic component of all previous agreements, the Dusseldorf Agreement was concluded, which determined the economic division of Europe between the interests of Germany and England.

On December 6, France will sign the corresponding "non-aggression pact" with Germany. A similar agreement between the Republic of Lithuania and the German Reich will be signed on March 22, 1939 in Berlin, according to which the Klaipeda region is reunited with the German Reich. And the non-aggression pact between the German Reich and Latvia of June 7, 1939.

Thus, the agreement between the USSR and Germany, concluded on August 23, 1939, was the last in a series of those that were signed by other European countries, as if interested in maintaining peace in Europe.

Let's go back to Czechoslovakia. Archival documents published by the Russian president indicate that the Soviet Union was ready to support Czechoslovakia, however, according to the agreement between the USSR and Czechoslovakia, this was possible only if France fulfilled its obligations to Czechoslovakia.

During a press conference on December 19, organized with the participation of the heads of the CIS countries, Vladimir Putin voiced a number of questions put to the Polish ambassador by French Prime Minister Edouard Daladier.

“He asked him if the Poles would let the Soviet troops through. (Józef) Lukasiewicz answered in the negative. Daladier asked if they would let the Soviet planes through. Lukasiewicz said that the Poles would open fire on them. When Lukasiewicz also answered in the negative to the question whether Poland would come to the rescue if <…> Germany declared war on France, the Polish representative answered no. Daladier replied that he did not see the point in the Franco-Polish alliance, and he connected Czechoslovakia's assistance with the support of Poland.

Poland had its own territorial claims to a piece of Czechoslovakia, so an agreement with France could not be reached under any circumstances.

The following were excerpts from the recording of the conversation between the German Ambassador to Poland and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland. In this document, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland expressed the hope that:

"in the areas claimed by Poland, there will be no contradictions with German interests."

This indicates that Poland carried out the division of the Czechoslovak territory in close conjunction with Hitler.
