Cyclone Eleanor - what should Belarusians expect?

Cyclone "Eleanor" will not have a significant impact on the weather in Belarus. Such information is posted on the website of the Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Radioactive Contamination Control and Environmental Monitoring of the Ministry of Natural Resources, BelTA informs.

Over the past few days, the weather conditions in Belarus were determined by the influence of sedentary atmospheric fronts and warm air masses coming from the southwestern regions of Europe.

Unstable weather is observed with precipitation in the form of rain and sleet and elevated temperatures.

The active cyclonic eddy Eleanor, which determines stormy weather in the countries of Western Europe, passed over the regions of Denmark on the morning of January 4; weather in Belarus is not expected.

The weather conditions in Belarus at the end of the working week and the upcoming weekend will be formed under the influence of atmospheric fronts and warm air masses coming from the southwestern regions of Europe.

Precipitation will fall in the form of rain and sleet. The temperature background will remain elevated, at night it is predicted from minus 2 to plus 4 degrees. During the day, 1-7 heat is expected, only on January 7 it will be a little cooler in the north.

A change in the nature of the weather in Belarus is predicted early next week. It is expected that light frosts will set in, it will be mostly rainless.
